Kenny Chesney’s Life On A Rock

Country superstar Kenny Chesney recently revealed the album cover art for his highly anticipated new album, Life On A Rock. The album, which will feature his current hit single, “Pirate Flag,” hits stores April 30.

Check out Chesney’s message for fans below…

Hey, Guys…
By now you know, we’re coming…
for another summer, another round of remembering what music means, being together and making memories…
Me & the guys are so ready!
I love that you’re loving “Pirate Flag” as much as I did when I heard it. Pretty much says it all about a whole lot of life, right?
Life. You’ve shared so much of yours with me and my music, and I can’t wait to get the next record out to you. It’s snapshots of places I’ve been, people I’ve loved and moments I wish I could bottle up. Kind of like the album cover… literally, pictures from my life.
It’s called Life On A Rock. It looks at where I’ve been, what I’ve learned and hopefully how we grow. I can’t share the music for a bit, but here’s the cover. It’s a lot like this record actually sounds!
Until we find you on the road, or in your car, or on the beach
Be As You Are,
Kenny

You and Carrie Underwood are giving back tonight!

Carrie Underwood has a big heart when it comes to helping others. During the current leg of her Blown Away tour, the songstress is donating a percentage of the proceeds to the American Red Cross.

“We kind of started something like this on the [last] tour, when there was a reference to 36 cents in the song ‘Change,'” Carrie told The Boot and other reporters at a recent media event. “After seeing what a big difference that made, we decided to do something different on this tour, and we chose the Red Cross. It is such a wonderful organization to help people when they need it.” Being here [in Nashville] with the flood, and then when [Hurricane] Sandy happened, we made that deal and it is a great time to be with them. It seems like weather-related accidents happen all the time, and then with the tour being called Blown Away, it was a great tie-in. They are appreciative and I’m excited to be able to present a giant check to them at the end of the tour.”

Brad Paisley Helps in Haiti

This past week, Brad Paisley took a break from his typically busy schedule of writing and recording new music to donate his talents to people in the Thomazeau community in Haiti. By partnering with a charity called Live Beyond, Paisley and his team members were able to install water pumps for a village in need.

Paisley has been updating his Twitter followers of his progress in Haiti, posting a photo of himself with a group of kids and another of himself pumping clean water from a new well. “[Second] of new water purification systems in Thomazeau Haiti,” Paisley tweeted with the photo of himself with a group of kids. “Thanks to #LiveBeyond, these kids can drink clean water.”
